Company History

Urban Metalwork is a 4th generation company and a sister company of the 3 proceeding, which are all still in successful operation.

Originally Cockerell Roofing, a roofing installation company, soon became Geelong Sheetmetal (www.geelongsheetmetal.com.au) , which then evolved and expanded into Architectural Panel Systems Australia (www.apsaus.com.au) , and soon after, Urban Metalwork was created.

Our regular clients and recommendations forced our hand into this industry, which became a blessing.

The company is 100% family owned and operated, with both the office and production departments being ran by brothers Jamie & Ash Cockerell respectively, right here in our production facility in Geelong, Victoria.

Our production runs from 2 large factories, located side by side, set up effectively for different areas and styles of manufacturing.
