Corten Lasercut Screens Hawthorn
September 16, 2015>Urban Metalwork were commissioned to manufacture an Honour Board, at the prestigious Bialik College in Hawthorn.
The design intent was a large screen, approximately 3600mm high x 3600mm in length, with a 25mm wall mounted relief, using a completely concealed fixing system.
Manufactured from 3mm thick Corten Weathering Steel, this piece was installed in an outdoor courtyard at the college.
The 10mm double spaced hole design will soon incorporate stainless steel plates to display the schools hierarchy.
Urban Metalwork were called upon for our expertise and knowledge in concelead fixing displays, to make these Corten Lasercut displays work efficiently, when shown the initial design intent.
